Cookie Policy

Effective

This site installs no advertising cookies and uses no third-party analytics provider. It counts its own visits with the first-party storage listed below, and that counting can be switched off in one click. It is off already for a browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, without you having to ask.

1. What this Policy covers

“Cookies” here includes browser cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies. The current website uses Cloudflare’s essential network and security processing and the first-party storage described below. Stripe may use its own essential, payment, and fraud-prevention technologies after you continue from the ritual-details form to the embedded payment step or open the customer portal.

2. Essential first-party storage

NamePurposeTypical duration
brc_cookie_preferencesRemembers that essential storage is enabled and optional analytics remain disabled.Until browser storage is cleared
brc_subscription_managementTemporarily stores a public subscription reference and private management key while Stripe payment confirmation and automatic account activation complete. It is never sent to analytics.Until cancellation, manual removal, or browser storage is cleared
brc_visitor_id and brc_visit_sessionRandom identifiers this browser generates for itself so first-party page views can be counted without a third-party provider. Until a checkout is completed they identify nobody.Until browser storage is cleared; the session value ends with the browser tab
brc_campaignRemembers the campaign labels carried by the link you arrived from, so a visit can be counted against the advertisement that led here. It holds text we wrote into our own links, not information about you.Until replaced by a later tagged visit or browser storage is cleared
brc_last_planRemembers which offer you opened, so a completed purchase can be counted against the right one.Until browser storage is cleared

These technologies support a service you request and cannot be disabled through the site without breaking that feature. You can clear them in browser settings.

3. Optional measurement

One thing here is optional, and “Cookie preferences” in the site footer turns it off on its own. Refusing takes the same single click as accepting.

NameProviderPurposeTypical duration
Visit measurementUs. No third party receives it.Counts page views, which sections of the page were reached, seconds spent, and the steps of a checkout, using the first-party identifiers listed above. It is how we learn where visitors turn back.Rows are deleted after 90 days

Turning it off in Cookie preferences takes effect immediately in this browser and deletes the identifiers this site had stored. No optional personalization, retargeting, or cross-context advertising provider is enabled in this release. Before adding one we will update this table, identify the provider and lifespan, obtain consent where required, and provide rejection as easily as acceptance.

4. Your controls

Use “Cookie preferences” in the site footer to review the current state. Browser controls can delete or block local storage. Blocking Stripe or Cloudflare essential technologies may prevent checkout, fraud prevention, or secure site delivery. Privacy requests can be submitted on Your Privacy Choices.

Where applicable, we will recognize Global Privacy Control for sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-outs. There is currently no such sale or sharing to opt out of.

5. Third-party information

Cloudflare processes essential request and security information when delivering the site. Stripe’s technologies apply inside Stripe-controlled payment frames embedded in this site and on Stripe’s customer-portal pages. Their retention and controls are described in Stripe’s notices. The visual placement of a Stripe Element inside our page does not make its payment processing first-party processing by us.
